Dear Business Colleague,
 
The extended Lockdown from the initial three weeks till the end of April has a devastating effect on people that are relying on piece-work, smaller contracts and general maintenance. The current situation is that these people are struggling to survive and are not having food on the table on a daily basis.
 
The CCBC are working together with the various Business Forums throughout the City and have been approached by the following Forums for assistance with basic food items in support of verified persons as per attached lists:
 

• Tswelopele Business Forum (Soshanguve) – 904 households
• Hammanskraal Business Forum –                   89 households
• Olievenhoutbosch Business Forum –              145 households (final verification in process)

Total:                                                                     1 138 verified households
 
We are requesting for assistance with the provision of basic food parcels at a value of +-R400 each. These parcels will be delivered at the various Business Forums which will assist with the distribution process to verified households only.
